Aho! My daughter has taken to coloring her face with a washable marker. Like, the whole thing.

This has the result of people NOT commenting on her beautiful eyes, but rather either (a) giving her a crazy stare, or (b) commenting on her artistry and creative fearlessness.

It’s still about how she looks, but I think it’s interesting that she chooses to do it to prevent comments on her eyes.
