As a Texan, I feel much the same way. What the hell?!?

The problems that I see from here are the egregious manipulation of people from within their algorithmic filter bubbles, corruption and scandal on both sides of the perceived partisan divide, and the fact that corporate interests fund both the Republican and Democratic parties while effectively shutting out any other options.

I personally know people who voted for Trump. Several of them in fact. And I can't for the life of me understand how they don't get the implications of what they are standing for.

Biden is a terrible option as well. One can only hope that (a) he wins, and (b) he gets on that bridge gig as soon as possible. I think there are several cohorts of people just waiting for AOC to grow up and take the reins. Although there will be tons of other people who will cringe at that thought.

I miss facts.
