Becoming a parent was the hardest and best thing that ever happened to me. It has changed me in ways I could never have described or imagined beforehand. And it’s exactly where I want to be now, despite the pressure of wanting to do my best all the time, and falling short so often.

It’s definitely all about the choices we make.

But tonight as we did our bedtime ritual of snuggles, I felt that incredible love that comes from knowing that my kids are little people growing up into this world just as I once did. And I know they can both be secure in the love and acceptance they get from us. And that feels amazing.
