Careers that make people happy do not support people. And careers that support people do not make them happy.

Men need to help themselves for sure. And more importantly they need to help each other.

It’s a hell of a lot easier to leave those dark rooms and put down the controller (isn’t that an ironically accurate name for the fantasy sold by the gaming industry for their smack?) when your buddy says, hey bro. Let’s get out of here and do something better.

I’ve watched my husband and his friends leave those dark rooms, start getting up early, start doing jiujitsu, abandon the gaming industry and start living life again. It’s a beautiful possibility.
