Everything is interconnected. That money wasn’t wasted. It paid for food and camps for a bunch of kids. It paid people’s bills off.

While the metaphor for useless work is there, I agree, still. Have you heard of the burn? Where the point is to create art together then burn it, leaving the bonds of community behind?
