For all that I’m not a fan of the current administration's style, flavor, motives, or behavior, I will say this one thing. We’ve entered the era of ripping the cover off and staring boldly into the seething underbelly of what’s been there for ages. The polite facade is gone. In some cases (like this one) it’s a good thing. Reproductive hypocrisy indeed! You’ve named it well.

When we learn that BOTH men and women have to play to make babies happen, it will be a tiny step towards the idea that people are people, regardless of gender. And all should have to play by the same rules.

Brilliant piece. And what a brave bill to introduce. I’d have like to have been a fly on the wall of the conversation where this idea was conceived and brought to fruition. May it not pass, but may it illuminate the nonsense more and more and more.
