So just one question for you, Sean. Is Instagram’s algorithm targeting you with shiny butts because of (a) your age and gender and the assumed social standards that are supposedly driving your interests? Or (b) past browsing habits.

This is a serious question, and not snark here. I’d be fascinated to see a piece from you on the sexist attitudes of the algorithms and AI logic in place today on social. And what that means for the average social media user.
