I’m not completely anti-western medicine. But if western medicine is so great, why all the deaths from medical error? Even if there is some controversy over the total cause of harm, it’s still a hell of a lot.

Western doctors are trained to look at the body as a machine and to treat it like an engineer. So yeah, if I break a bone, I’m going to the western doc to get it set and cast.

But if I have a systemic issue, that engineer is simply not trained to handle it. How else would you answer the points that Elle Beau ❇︎ brings up about the rampant misprescribing of drugs, or the crap that happened to her Mom?

Just curious, why the attitude? Are you a machine? It’s a valid question these days in internet land.
