I definitely agree that posting on Medium can be better than just posting on a personal website that may or may not be getting any traffic. That’s why I embedded my Medium blog on my WordPress site and used a few fancy tricks to make it look like the posts are native to my site.

I’m still fine-tuning my formatting, and we had to play with it a little bit so that only my posts (and not my comments) showed up. But I think it might just be the best of both worlds. I worked with Eli Horne and his nifty tool FeedMirror to marry the two platforms.

There are a few plugins available to do this as well, but I found that FeedMirror let me customize the look and feel a bit more than the others.
