Gotta be honest. For the longest time I’ve been confused about people who label themselves as nonbinary.
I didn’t know what the term really meant.
But recently, the reality and reasoning behind this style of personal expression hit me like a lightning bolt.

They’re just people who choose to express their own unique mix of the feminine, the masculine, and the personal aspects of themselves.
Duh.
My trans friends report some variations on feeling like a man in a woman’s body or a woman in a man’s body.
So it finally makes sense to me that a person who claims a nonbinary status is just be a person still comfortable in their own biological body, but with the desire to express themselves in ways outside the approval of our narrow confines social gender norms shackled to their biology.
