I agree with you on this bit:

If you’re going to call out “the patriarchy” it makes sense to acknowledge it as “the oppression of the many of both sexes by the few of both sexes.”

I also agree that men are currently suffering under “the patriarchy” at epidemic levels right now. That’s what #manbox conditioning leads to - and what my original piece was about.

This is NOT a Man vs Woman thing. It’s a subtler, more dangerous thing.
