I read something recently from Ian MacKenzie that made so much sense.

He said -

All signs reveal that civilization is in a death spiral. Any system that decouples itself from the law of the land, and it’s natural limitations, underwrites it’s own finitude. The globalized capitalist paradigm has only managed to continue by drawing down more and more ecosystems, more and more life and converting it into capital.

Ugh.
