I recently went on a 4 day solo writing retreat. Whilst not technically "single" I did all that you wrote about. My time. For me. Doing what I felt like. All day. For 4 whole days!!!!

It was absolutely the best. And I had to get to all of this in my head in order to be able to (a) know, (b) clearly ask for, and (c) get my alone time.

Quite the process in our culture.
