I think patriarchy is a terrible world, and we should use the words “dominator mindset” instead.

What if our attempt to “control” the world with technology, and to “lock people down to platforms,” is a manifestation of this dominator mindset?

Just like patriarchy attempts to control the wild, the chaotic, and the cyclical patterns of people and nature - the dominator mindset of a tech-first world does the same thing.

Technology is a tool. It’s not good or evil in and of itself - but more often than not tech is used to dig us further in.

Sometimes tech is used to promote equity. But it’s rare.
