I think “strong” could be parsed for more nuance perhaps.
(Although I also agree with you that naming outliers among women as strong or outspoken does imply the rest of women are NOT this way.)
Strong like an axe chopping a tree!
Strong like a woman pushing a child out of her yoni!
Strong like a waterfall smashing rocks into sand.
Strong like a man who holds space for a woman’s childhood trauma response recovery.
Strong like a stiff drink.
Strong like a powerful emotion.
If the Eskimos have all those words for snow, then why do we limit our conception of something as broad as “strength” to just one facet.
