I’m amazed at how many people who claim to be Christians have never actually even read the Bible.

Same thing for some Muslims! They’re hardcore, but don’t think for themselves. And this is in a tradition where the story of their holy book supposedly started with Allah sending the revelation to Mohammed, to READ! First word of the Quran revealed, evidently.

But people don’t read. Or think. Especially when they’re scared or confounded. And life will do BOTH of these things to you on a regular basis. Scare and confuse.

Give me Dionysus and his thrysus anyday. I’m a maened at heart. Just pull out my lion pelts and wild debauchery, and let’s go eat some meat!
