It’s a vicious catch-22. You need to receive care (as a human of either gender) to fill your love tank. But if you can’t receive care because it’s “girly and weak” then you can’t give care back.

And since giving care is “girly and weak” men aren’t allowed to give it to each other inside the #manbox.

Add to that that men are people, and women are coded as objects, and boom!!!

The ONLY thing I disagree with you about, is that men have to do it all alone. Yes, it’s absolutely their work to do. But we women have to hold space for them to do it - in an ironic twist of the roles of yin and yang.

At least that’s how I feel.
