It’s good to know this early. Especially as caretakers, it’s SO important to include ourselves on our own priority lists. Because, speaking from experience, those big issues are not much fun to fix.
The pain teacher, as Paul Chek calls it, can hurt less or more depending on when we choose to accept the lessons it brings.
And self-compassion is key. You’re so wise to know this already. Go you!
