It's hard to put a static lens on this dynamic thing we call life. If I were to imagine the way I personally use concepts like Individualism, Intersectionality, Collectivism, or even the various social paradigms - it would be more like motes within a kaleidescope. As the perspective shifts around, so does what you see through the lens.
