I’ve been job hunting since January. LinkedIn itself did an article on why I (and other women like me) weren’t finding work. And all the things you said. I’m pretty pissed too.
Ironic, eh?
But I’m happy to report that after 8 months of searching, I finally tracked down a job I wanted to do. And I wouldn’t have gotten it without being able to message the company leadership directly.
Just like regular life, you can always choose to work around the idiocy.
Just don’t try to pick me up on it.
