My one experience with DMT was during childbirth with my son. I did not have to go to the Silk Road to get mine. But during a profoundly feminine experience, I certainly had a trip with all the hallmarks other DMT explorers have reported. I went to other planes of being and had negotiations with various entities who were usually sitting across the table from me.
The experience went through peaks and valleys. Each contraction during active labor was a trip, and I’d return back to my body immersed in the labor tub in between the contractions.
At the peak of the experience, when my son’s head was crowning I had a very distinct experience of dissolving and becoming the passageway through which my son’s spark of being passed on his way into this reality. I also had a clear view through the portal of what I imagined was my cervix. I could see a great, whirling, multicolored cloud of sparks beyond the doorway of my self.
So, yes. I think the experience of DMT definitely has a different effect on women than it does on men. And it can absolutely recontextualize our reality of being human here on earth.
Nice piece. Thanks for writing!
