Oh I fully agree with you that “masculine” and “feminine” can totally be social constructs. That’s not the way I’m speaking of them here, but let me clarify - as gendering these terms can be dastardly confusing.

I’m referring to the binary of expansion (coded as masculine) and contraction (coded as feminine) or yang and yin. Or inhale and exhale. All of these dualities shape what COULD be the unified experience of existing, but all too often in our warped understanding of gendered roles, does not.

Decentering the out of balance masculine (more better faster harder more assertive more dominant…) to recenter and value the feminine (slower softer more receptive more circular more partnership oriented…) - and “decentering men” aren’t at all the same thing. This 4B thing feels like it may be confusing the two.

It’s tricky to describe or speak to, but imho still needs to be addressed.
