Oh I wanted to give this piece a standing ovation. So much YES!

As a mother, I’ve been busy teaching my kids all about stuff I wish I had known. Both my little boy and my little girl are getting the treatment.

They know about chores, patience, respect, consent, fertility, why racism is stupid, how to hold a clear boundary, hormones, substances that alter us and when we might choose to use them or not.

They’ll not be blindsided by social reality. Now if we could just get on the climate work a little more…
