One of my dear friends has a transgender son. Knowing him from a very early age, and witnessing his transition at 13 & 14 was amazing and it made so much sense. I suddenly understood what dysphoria and transition were all about.

At 17 now, he’s doing awesome and so is his family. I feel honored to be a part of his support system.
