Ooof. What a scalpel of a piece! Well done!!

I wrote about this too. I feel that shame is the attempt of the masculine/mental/extermalized/logical parts of us to control the feminine/emotional/internalized/mysterious parts of living. And this foolish construct results in all the things you talk about in your essay.

Here’s to raising our children differently. Here’s to changing our own views on it. And like you said, here’s to ditching the shame and refusing to wear it!
