Dear Shannon,

Other people have said it too, but guess what. You’ve inspired the hell out of me. Your work ethic, your vulnerability, your willingness to show up, and your direct style of writing. All super helpful examples to this mama on my own journey.

While I’m not doing it all by myself (and don’t know if I even could!!!) my partner is an entrepreneur as well and we’ve been struggling the hustle game since we had kids 7+ years ago. The paychecks have been sporadic, to say the least!

I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A lot of that comes from your bright light leading down the track in front of me.

Now, I’ve been showing up. I’ve been tagging all my pieces with 5 tags — which you taught me. I’m excited to write. I see the possibilities. The results are starting to show. And I’m just getting started! No fizzling out here.

I got my Medium Stats email for the week today. I’m floored.

Now if only I could write good but simple headlines like you do. Nothing awkward about those!
