Poor guys. Damned for just being LIKE a woman. Hatred is prepared at such an early age with this sneaky hack
You make a good point with your article. Hatred in coaches is a very dangerous thing.
Here’s a short story for you James.
In jr high & high school I had trained for 6 years to get my black belt in taekwondo. Cool, but I also knew that if I got taken down, you could pretty much tickle me to death. Not cool.
This was before BJJ was popular, and this was central Pennsylvania. So I did what any mindful conscious martial artist would do, and looked for a place to hone my skills.
And THAT is how I ended up wrestling, on the boys team, for 2 years in high school. Back in the 1990s.
As a woman, those boys (including the coaches) had been trained to despise anything weak, emotional, or feminine. I was almost the enemy, except for when they daydreamed of getting some from me.
It was… an informative experience.
My ground game is much better now. And I’m glad there is co-ed jujitsu now.
And yes. People should stop being defined by who they love and who they’d like to fuck. Those are things you do, not who you are. And they should not affect your right to play sports.
