Pretty sure the real beneficiaries of the whole church thing are the folks hired to build magnificent buildings, and the tailors hired to sew the magnificent robes for the priests.

Back when God was a woman, we all had access to the mysteries. The mysteries of being born and dying. The mystery of sustenance and form. The mystery of love.

But as soon as some folks realizes they could gain power over others by claiming proximity to GOD, the whole thing started to spiral.

My church is the field and the stream. My pastor the croaking frog. My revelations come thru my feet as intuition. And my worship is gratitude and amazement for simply being alive.
