Reading this article today, I couldn't agree with you more.

Ironically, when I started writing on this platform a few years back I wrote this piece. I think I was trying to talk myself out of the time needed to just "become a better writer" and tried to laud the moral benefits of communicating in a way that more people can consume and digest.

But after just a few years of putting fingers to keyboard, and sometimes marker to notebook - I've come around.

Writing for adults is FUN. Way more fun than trying to people please the masses by writing in overly simplistic terms and structures. Fuggedabout it!

Long live expensive words of nuance, the structures of interwoven complexity, and the pleasure of laying out thoughts and ideas in elegant form.

The crest of the hill is where all the good views are anyway!
