So what have you seen happen when 2 highly independent people get together and have kids?

I’m struggling not to frame the situation as a feminist, but…

I was once pretty damn independent and the two of us were a good match. Now I find myself wondering if I’m stuck running the house and running point on the kids am the time because he’s trying so hard to hold on to HIS independence in old ways.

It’s extremely trying. Or I guess, a growth opportunity?
