Tending relationships is one of the cornerstones of healthy interdependence. This is solid common sense.

I feel like it’s also the answer to the problems of living in a world generally oriented around a top-down hierarchy and the sense of competition we often feel around succeeding.

Living in a zero-sum universe makes it feel like there isn’t enough TIME to do the things you suggest here. But the feeling is baloney.

We don’t live in a zero-sum world. We live in a world of limitless love instead.

More for you is more for me, not less.

It is actually through extending ourselves that we will receive that which we crave and desire.
