Grammar freemium regularly strokes my ego, telling me how I use roughly more unique words than 97% of other writers each week. It tempts me like that cute younger guy in marketing. A gentle urge, a slight desire for more, but no strong compulsion to really act on it.
Your words confirm what I’ve always known in my heart of hearts.
It’s fine to enjoy the flirtation, but don’t go deeply down that rabbit hole, for that way lies danger.
For now, I’ll just use a few more commas, but not all of them. And I’ll enjoy glancing through their weekly analysis email, looking at my sexy little percentiles and word counts to give me a safe thrill.
