The problem with this article is that you’re not looking at the issue holistically.
I posted this a while back with my long list of science backed, and unanswered questions.
Your point about dismissive attitudes not working is spot on. There won’t be any resolution to this discussion until both sides can come to the table and actually address the actual questions.
Numbers, economics, and money do not correlate to the complexity of life, health, and parenting.
We are trying so hard to control life instead of working with it. When will we learn that we are PART OF the system, and not the masters of it?
As a physiologist, I feel like I have a better grip on the issues than you do as an economist. Nice try here, but this article just serves to reinforce the futility of arguing this issue with peripheral “data” instead of taking on the root cause problem.
