There is this insidious bias in the world that most people don’t notice because it’s so woven into our day-to-day that it’s indeed, invisible. Every time someone addresses me and my daughter together with the salutation, “Hey Guys,” I cringe.

The normalization of women’s place being in the home and men’s place being out in the world needs ACTIVE effort to be reversed. Articles like this are a good pixel in the new picture we are all trying to create.
