This comment starts with a tangent, but it'll come back around. Wait for it.

I used to work in the tech field, specifically In Business Intelligence. In fact, I was so nerdy that I was part of the Microsoft Business Advisory Council on Business Intelligence.

Business Intelligence is, of course, abbreviated as B.I.

Unfortunately, a lot of the community members were better at math than social cues or norms, and had no idea that BI might mean something else to other folks.

So one evening, I found myself out with a group of about 20 guys, and they were all pulling on the free shirts that came with the event over existing shirts to go bowling for an evening of networking and fun.

The shirts said "BI Power Hour." I'm sure we were a very confusing group of humans to observe that night. Lol. And NONE of the guys indicated they were in on the joke.

It was priceless.

Things are not always what they seem to be. And that's ok.
