This is a brilliant piece here, sister.

Underneath all of the stupidity, racism, and collective death wish of people trapped in this most illogical of states there’s a story that got us to this place.

The story that God is a man in the sky, and not the mother under our feet.

The story that teaches us to value certainty and science as better than intuition and relational intelligence.

The story that tells us humans are above and in charge of nature.

The story that told us abstracted ideas of things were more worthy, powerful, and holy than the things themselves.

The story that men are above women, white people are above black peoples, straight people are above queer folk, rich people are more important than poor people - this fateful and horrible story?

It’s at the root.

It’s a story I’m working to share in order that we may collectively begin the unweaving.


We need a better fucking story to live from.

It is right here, under our noses. Literally.



We have been systematically trained to self-marginalize ourselves for the sake of the system.

A few people get to live at the smack dab center of the wheel of privilege. Three dudes, we all know their names.

Yet even these folks are losing now. And they know it.

The rest of us suffer in direct proportion to how far away from this center of power and privilege we are.

The folks that stupidly bray about rights for white people while ignoring rights for black people?

They’re the ones scrabbling to climb over the bodies of others to reach safety and stability in a frightening world.

They’re being stupid because they live in a vibration of fear and disconnect.

Discontent and fear are the engine of the stupid empire.

Yes, we should vote the fools out, but - most of us haven’t been able to heal ourselves, let alone heal the systems.

We’ll vote better when we start living better.
