The only thing I would have done differently than her (had I been in her shoes) would have been to say,
“No, I’m not like other girls in just this one way. I’ve learned to love myself as I am, and not have to kowtow to your opinion of me to feel sufficient. That attitude you just shared killed all the vibes we had going. So now I’m going to thank you for the evening up to this point, and go home. Bye!”
And then hope I didn’t get followed home and killed for being honest.
Which is why btw, women so often choose NOT to be straightforward, risk offending an unknown dude, and put themselves in harms way.
