We are the ones being called upon to go through the rite of passage from adolescence into full adulthood. We are being asked to become whatever the hero turns into, after their hero’s journeys are long gone. We may be woke, but we are far from grown.

It makes me a little tired just to think about what comes next.

Shall we evolve and create what’s next, or should we just backfill our whole civilization and leave it as a warning to future beings like they did at ol’ Göbeckli Tepe.
