Well, I didn’t have the experience of it either, so I had no comparison or reference point when I was young.

Definitely mea culpa, in hindsight. Although I was never vocal about my doubts, I just wondered in my own head. It’s easy to dismiss something that you’ve never experienced.

Then BAM. Karma! 😒
