Just think of what the workplace might look like if we weren’t all so busy trying to outsmart death! I think that’s why people are really quitting.

The internet, and the huge increase in bandwidth has something to do with the GR, but it didn’t happen until COVID hit, and the storms started getting so very bad.

I think people all over the world suddenly realized — that they might die! And they didn’t want to spend the time before they died working shitty retail or hospitality jobs. Jobs, btw, which cannot be done online unless you are operating a drone to make beds or sell baubles…

The internet has been around long enough that I’ve had a 25 year career almost entirely based on side-hustles and freelancing. The last big company I worked for directly was Blue Cross Blue Shield — in the secretarial pool back in the early ‘90s!

Only one thing is for sure. It’s going to be interesting!
