While you're totally right that the onus is not on women to magically sniff out danger via our vaunted intuition, the fact remains that our intuition is also critically underdeveloped because of the nature of how our culture treats it.

Intuition is a sense, and just like all other senses, it can be honed and tuned with training. But the values of our so called Judeo-Christian society are so anti-witch, and really so anti-woman under the covers that most of us never get the opportunity to train this powerful sense.

Motherhood, with all its attendant and visceral changes to the body may tend to activate the powers of intuition. At least that has been my experience. But you can also choose to work actively on intuition if you so desire.

And still - it's not on you to ID the mass murderers in disguise. Glad you had a near miss there.
