Will Silver Hair Look Good On Me?

And will I give a damn if it anyone thinks it doesn’t?

Modern culture tells two big lies about how women should be valued by society

  1. Physical attractiveness (or the lack thereof) determines her value and worth. A woman’s attractiveness is generally not a metric she gets to determine for herself. Instead, it is measured by how much men want to have sex with her.
  2. No matter how attractive she might be, aging will always lower her value.

As we gradually remove the malaise of the patriarchy from our collective consciousness, more and more women are starting to fiercly call this sexist nonsense out for what it is.

Total bullshit.

This is partly why you’re starting to see more women rocking their silver and white hair with grace and confidence these days.

The unnatural affinity of the patriarchy to what we think we can control — like aging — is finally beginning to fade. At least, one would hope.

Enter the Silver Revolution

One of the interesting markers of this shift is the increasing embrace of grey, silver, and white hair in women.
