Wow. Just, wow.

I feel so much of what you’re saying here on a visceral level. Family, community, and as our European friend mentions, society itself are human creations. It’s time to shift into a newer model of kinship, or an old one leveled up.

Open is the new tribal for us right now. And social media is a connective tissue. Because you are SO RIGHT. The isolated nuclear family just doesn’t work. Economically, emotionally, logistically, spiritually. The bit about everyone having their own screens hit home hard.

I’m all for being part of a band, and by extension a tribe. We’re going to need each other more than ever going forward.
