Yes. And… what you so eloquently describe here teaches even further. Just think about how we treat the grandest of “ladies” - mother earth.

Uniting is a good idea. But ultimately, as hard as it is to comprehend, we may have to unite as a whole. Not just progressives vs conservatives. Not just humans vs the planet either.

We need to unite and remember that the organism in its environment is the measure of possibility.

Put it another way - we’re going to need to stop fighting. Which is hard to comprehend when we feel like WE are the ones on the defensive.

It takes crazy courage to lower our guard. It might seem insane! But if we keep fighting, we will never touch the root issue here. I believe it’s our long-bred separation from all that is that’s at the root of this. Our fear of death and our lionization of youth and beauty.

It is ALL divine.

None of this is meant to downplay the anti-trans horror. Or the anti-woman. You’re right - it IS all the same thing. But all we fight will fight us back.

How do we find a way to transcend fear and hate? This to me, is the real conundrum, and one I want to work with…
