As much as I love my kids, and they have been a huge catalyst for my own growth - had I been a tad bit more sensitive, or needed any more solo-time - I could very well have been coming from a similar perspective as you explain in your piece. So I totally get it.

Diversity is the spice of life. Next time you're hiking a trail or laying in a hammock reading a book - take a few steps or read a few pages for me. I'm headed back that way, but it's going to be a minute!!!
